“Welcome to Tudor Rose Lower Secondary”
We are proud to announce Lower Secondary courses starting at Tudor Rose in September 2025! Enrollment is open to prospective students wishing to join our Middle School. The goal is to continue the education path for our highly recommended Primary School. Courses will be delivered by fully qualified teachers, who will prepare students for the International General Certificate in Secondary Education (IGCSE) and Advanced Level (A Level) qualifications. Numbers are set to 10 students per class – places are limited. Acceptance is based on passing Entry Examinations and a good School Report.
Parents wishing to learn more about this exciting new development should contact ourselves to arrange a visit before 15th July 2025
What is Tudor Rose Lower Secondary?
Lower Secondary is for learners aged 11 to 14 years. It helps prepare students for the next step of their education after Primary. There are a choice of core subjects as well as ones to develop creativity, expression and well being. By offering Lower Secondary, Tudor Rose British College provides a broad and balanced education for all our learners, helping them to thrive throughout their schooling, work and life. With over ten subjects to choose from, including English, mathematics and science, they’ll find plenty of opportunities to develop creativity, expression and wellbeing in a variety of ways.
Where will the study take students?
Cambridge IGCSEs and A Levels are recognised in 160 countries for entry into Undergraduate Study. Students do 10 or more subjects between the ages of 14 – 16 years, when they sit their IGCSE Examinations. They follow this by specialising in 3 subjects of their choice at A Level, which they study between the ages of 16-18 years. All examinations are marked independently by Cambridge University. The study of IGCSEs and A Levels is required for entry into Universities in Great Britain and are also recognised in Spain and many other countries.
